Wonderwoods. Two towers. One vision. To restore urban biodiversity. And in doing so, revive our relationship with nature and inspire future generations to live in harmony with other species in the heart of Utrecht.
Wonderwoods offers plenty of different apartment types. From suites to 2-room, 3-room, 4-room apartments and specials and penthouses.
On behalf of the European Property Awards Wonderwoods has been chosen as the best Mixed-Use project in the Netherlands!
Wonderwoods will open on the doorstep of Utrecht Central Station in 2024.
Wonderwoods will be a sister park of Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park or shall we say a sister forest. The 1 hectare of greenery in and on the facade is inspired by National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
To improve air quality and ease congestion, we are promoting a culture of sustainable transport: electric cars, e-bikes and bicycles. Be assured of ample parking and charging stations.
The roof park on the 7th floor of Tower II is the perfect escape from the daily bustle of life. Or simply wander through the lush greenery, giving your mental health a boost and enjoy a great view.
Wonderwoods’ natural habitat will encourage around 30 different species of fauna – including birds, bees and butterflies – to return to live in the city.
Happiness comes from the inside out. We make it easy to make a fresh start to each day with our healthy food concepts. Part of our ‘slow food’ and ‘slow living’ approach for a balanced lifestyle.
Nowhere will transcend any notions of a traditional museum or gallery as it hosts a new type of multisensory and interactive digital art exhibition that encourages participation with the public.
Thinking beyond bricks and mortar, our world-renowned architects play a vital role in shaping our environment: their designs actively promote health and happiness. And by restoring our lost connection to nature in such an iconic way, will inspire other cities around the world.
Roberto Meyer, MVSA Architects
Dutch architect Roberto Meyer of Amsterdam-based MVSA Architects designed one tower. This ‘extrovert’ tower gives you the inside-outside feeling because the green interior extends to the nature outside. Here you will find owner-occupied homes, rental homes, offices, roof park, Digital Art Space ‘Nowhere’ and various other facilities.
Stefano Boeri Architetti, Stefano Boeri Architetti
Stefano Boeri Architetti designed the other tower. This Milan based architecture firm is known worldwide for its innovative ‘Bosco Verticale‘ (Vertical Forest). Here you will find rental and owner-occupied homes, a roof park with a restaurant, a gym, healthy catering facilities and various facilities.
By turning urban architecture on its head and reconnecting people with nature, we can transform attitudes towards sustainability and increase biodiversity in the city of Utrecht.
As an antidote to increasingly artificial cities and rocketing urbanisation, Stefano Boeri decided to create his now-famous residential towers ‘Bosco Verticale’ in the heart of Milan. A design that rapidly increases green urbanisation and oxygen in cities. This is what we can look forward to with Wonderwoods.
Utrecht, is also known as the Dom City. The Dom, the tallest and oldest church tower in the Netherlands, is the pride of the city. It’s hard not to fall in love with Utrecht, it embodies genuine Dutch ‘gezelligheid’. This delightful Dutch city is the fourth largest in the Netherlands and has the best of everything that belongs to a large city, such as culture, quality of life, transport, education and social activities.
Beurskwartier will be a metropolitan area in which Healthy Urban Living and sustainability are at its core.
Utrecht’s latest neighbourhood is still under development. This new kid on the block will be lively, green and car-free. No wonder that Wonderwoods will be part of it!
